Book now for a free tour of the iconic Box Hill Town Hall

10 August 2017

Come and experience the grandeur of the Box Hill Town Hall and remember the old school days!

As part of the City of Whitehorse's annual Heritage Week, we are delighted to offer the community the opportunity to enjoy a fascinating tour of the Box Hill Town Hall.

This year's Heritage Week theme is education, and all events will proudly celebrate how it has shaped our past and present generations.

The entertaining and educational guided tour of the Box Hill Town Hall will allow you to discover the rich history of this magnificent building. Enjoy charming anecdotes of days gone by, when regular debutante balls took place and Council meetings were held in the Chambers.

Take a seat in the Mayor’s chair - just like the students did in 1960 (see image right).

Morning Tea is included.

When: Thursday 14 September, 10am
Where: Box Hill Town Hall, Main Foyer, 1022 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill
Cost: Gold coin donation to the Youth Education Support Inc.
Bookings essential: Please call 9262 6555 to secure your place
